Project Briefing:

The Khursaniyah Gas Plant package (KGP) is part of the Khursaniyah Oil and Gas Facilities being constructed about 140 km northwest of Dhahran, spread over an area of 50 sq.km. The Khursaniyah program will develop oil and gas production facilities for the onshore Abu Hadriya, Fadhili and Khursaniyah oil fields near Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern Province, with capacity reaching 500,000 bpd by Q4 2008. The Khursaniyah project is part of Saudi Arabia's plan to raise production capacity to 12.5 million bpd by the end of the decade.

Client Requirements:

Snamprojetti has selected AES Arabia Ltd to provide the design, manufacturing, inspection, testing and delivery the RO plant for Khursaniyah Gas Plant (KGP) capable to treat 272 CuMD to produce effluent waqter with quality suitable to be subjected to further DI treatments in order to be used in the boilers
AES Solution:
AES designed the RO plant as three first pass modules and three second pass modules and three sand filters in addition to the required pumps, dosing sets, cartridge filter housing and API tanks. The whole system was driven by modern PLC & HMI systems.
