Daily Oil Tank
The three most common types of fuel used in boilers are coal, oil and gas. A daily oil fuel tank contains only the required quantity of fuel ready for immediate use. The day tank is located between the bulk storage tank and the boiler. Fuel is delivered from the bulk storage to the day tank by means of an oil transfer pump. The fuel from the day tank is transferred to the boiler burner by the burner-driven fuel pump. Daily tank unit includes all necessary pipe connection, inspection port, manual fill port, gauge along with a variety of optional accessories. The most common construction materials for daily oil tank is carbon steel.
